You tell us who the book is for, what they love, and the occasion, and add a photo. We write a brand-new story around them, whether they are four or forty, and illustrate every page with a character that looks like them. Nothing is a template with a name dropped in.
How long does it take?
The digital book is ready to read in a few minutes. The keepsake hardcover is printed and mailed in 7–12 business days. For Christmas, order the hardcover by 10 December; after that, send the e-gift and the book follows.

What is the Keepsake Hardcover?
An 8.5-inch square premium hardcover with your dedication printed on the first page and a bookplate that says who it was made for. It includes the digital edition and free US shipping, for $39.99. We also ship to Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, with shipping quoted when you order.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes. Shipping is free anywhere in the United States, and we also print and ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Books for those countries are printed in the same region, so they do not travel far; the exact shipping cost is quoted on the order page before you pay.
Can more than one person be in the story?
Yes. Up to three people or pets can star in a book: the birthday girl and her best friend, a couple on their anniversary, a grandfather and his grandson, a woman and her dog.
What if a page is not quite right?
You can redraw any page before you order the print, and we do not send a book to the printer until you have seen every page. If the printed book arrives damaged, we reprint it.
Can I see it before I pay?
Yes. The free preview shows the first pages of the real book, with them in it, in the style you chose. No card needed.
Is it a good gift if I do not have a photo?
It is. Describe them instead and we draw the character from your words, or send an e-gift and let them make the book with their own photo.
