What is a personalized retirement book?
A storybook in which the retiree is the main character, drawn from their photo, and the story we write is their career turned into an adventure. You send the highlights, the nicknames and the running jokes, and we do the writing and illustrating. It prints as an 8.5-inch square premium hardcover with a dedication page for the team to sign.
Can a whole team chip in?
Yes, and that is how most of these get made. One person places the order and collects stories from everyone else, usually in a shared document that gets out of hand in the best way. The dedication page has room for signatures, and the digital edition can be sent to the whole team so they can read it before the party.
Is it a good gift from the family?
It is the one that finally explains the job. Kids and grandkids know that Grandpa went to work for forty years without ever quite knowing what he did there, and a story that follows him through it, with his face on the hero, fills the gap. Add a spouse as the second character; they lived the career too.
How far ahead should we order?
As soon as the retirement date is on the calendar. The hardcover prints and ships in 7–12 business days, and farewell parties have a habit of moving earlier, so two to three weeks of lead time is comfortable. If the date sneaks up, buy the digital edition, read it aloud from a tablet at the party and hand over the hardcover later.
