Thirty years of work, retold as an adventure
A personalized retirement gift book that turns the whole career into an adventure story with the retiree as the hero, made from their photo, from the team or from the family.

A clock says thanks for your time. A personalized retirement book says we noticed: the retiree is the hero, made from their photo, and the career becomes the plot, from the first day with the wrong badge to the last day with the cake. The projects, the nicknames, the office dog and the coworker who never returned the stapler all get their pages.
Teams order it together, with everyone contributing one story and signing the dedication page. Families order it for the nurse, the teacher, the mail carrier or the machinist whose work the grandkids never quite understood, and the book explains it in a way they will. We write and illustrate it for you, and the digital edition is ready to read tonight for the party.

The retirement gift that explains what they did all day
Most people spend decades on work that their family only half understands. A book fixes that. It puts the career on the page as a story, with the retiree in the middle of it, so the grandkids finally learn what a project manager does and the team gets to say what they saw. Because we write it from what you tell us, the details are the real ones: the client nobody could please, the flood in the warehouse, the terrible coffee.
Five ways this book could go
Use one as it is, or tell us your own. The story is written fresh either way.
Thirty years at the plant, told as a voyage on a ship whose crew keeps changing and whose captain never does.
A retiring nurse gets a night shift where every patient turns out to be someone she saved years ago.
The teacher's last day, in which every former student returns as the grown-up she predicted they would become.
The mail carrier's final route, with every house on the street revealing the secret it kept for two decades.
A retirement seen from the family's side: Dad finally comes home at noon and has no idea what to do with a Tuesday.
Your idea
The stuffed rabbit, the trip to the lake, the sourdough that never rose. Type it in and it ends up on the page.

Retirement book questions
What is a personalized retirement book?
A storybook in which the retiree is the main character, drawn from their photo, and the story we write is their career turned into an adventure. You send the highlights, the nicknames and the running jokes, and we do the writing and illustrating. It prints as an 8.5-inch square premium hardcover with a dedication page for the team to sign.
Can a whole team chip in?
Yes, and that is how most of these get made. One person places the order and collects stories from everyone else, usually in a shared document that gets out of hand in the best way. The dedication page has room for signatures, and the digital edition can be sent to the whole team so they can read it before the party.
Is it a good gift from the family?
It is the one that finally explains the job. Kids and grandkids know that Grandpa went to work for forty years without ever quite knowing what he did there, and a story that follows him through it, with his face on the hero, fills the gap. Add a spouse as the second character; they lived the career too.
How far ahead should we order?
As soon as the retirement date is on the calendar. The hardcover prints and ships in 7–12 business days, and farewell parties have a habit of moving earlier, so two to three weeks of lead time is comfortable. If the date sneaks up, buy the digital edition, read it aloud from a tablet at the party and hand over the hardcover later.
